Doltone House, the property at Sydney's Jones Bay Wharf, is a major sponsor of the culinary extravaganza, The Variety of Chefs Red Carpet Dinner.
The charitable evening will bring together six of Australia’s top chefs to showcase their skills in an entertaining live on-stage cook-off.
Using fresh ingredients such as Western Australian marron, the chefs will cook up a gourmet feast on stage to be replicated for guests to enjoy by the Doltone House kitchen team.
With celebrity chef Benjamin Christie hosting the culinary theatrics, it will undoubtedly be another evening of spectacular food and top-notch entertainment - and all for a good cause.
Proceeds from the September 30 event will go to Variety the Children’s Charity’, which supports sick and disadvantaged children throughout Australia. The six chefs involved - Ben O’Donoghue (Surfing the Menu), Jared Ingersoll (Danks St Depot), Warren Turnbull (Assiette), Nick Clarke (Toast Food), Sean Connolly (Astral) and Peter Kuruvita (Flying Fish) – have all donated their time and skills to cook for the cause. A live runway show from Australian fashion sensation Bec & Bridge and host Laura Andon will add a glamorous twist to the evening.
“We cannot thank the Doltone House team enough for their generous support. It is going to be a wonderful evening and we look forward to seeing what fine fare the chef’s produce,” said variety event manager, Marni Ryan.
Tickets for the vent cost $195 a head, or $5000 for a silver table for 10. For more information, go to www.varietyofchefs.com.au.
